The unit is very efficient and a most reasonable price

I have been very pleased with the Waykar dehumidifier (PD160B) that I purchased on Amazon. The unit is very efficient at keeping my basement free from mold and mildew which was the reason I purchased it in the first place. The unit is very easy to set up with the hose that was included I am able to have the water drain directly into a floor drain which is very convenient so I don’t have to empty the water collection bucket. I researched a lot of dehumidifiers and the Waykar was very affordable. I give this unit a 5 star rating.

Excellent customer service beyond the warranty date

I received this unit as a Christmas gift 2024. I didn’t have a use for it until April 2025. When I opened the box and plugged it in, the fan didn’t turn over and the motor didn’t run. I contacted customer service at Waykar and they were very helpful in sending instructions on opening the unit and checking the sensors, making sure all the connections were secure. Whatever the issue was internally, I couldn’t find a problem with it, except it didn’t work. So Waykar customer service sent a mailing label. I returned the unit and received a new unit in its place. Plugged it in and it works great. Thank you, Penny and thank you Irish for all your help. Outstanding job.

This Unit Works!!

Purchased this unit in July of 2023 for the purpose of dehumidifying a church, that is only occudied twice a week, What a difference this unit made! When I needed customer support they were there Quickly and responded and resolved my question quickly! I recommend this product line!
