It was a good decision to purchase this model dehumidifier. It was easy to set up, came with a drain hose, is surprisingly quiet, extremely efficient and has been reliable. The only negatives are that per Waykar, there is no USA based customer service. Also, it was made in China.
1st unit was banged up and was pumping water with no water in it.I was sent another unit.it was banged up as well and would not power up.customer service refuses to contact me regardless numerous texts on my behalf.I’ve been ripped off and made to feel like it’s my fault.disgraceful.your service department should be ashamed of yourselves
So far, so good! Customer service was excellent as we needed the dehumidifiers for my business in a rush. Just got it a few weeks ago and it's working as expected. Thank you.
Works great in my crawlspace
The good: works like a dream to keep basement humidity steady at about 40%, works quickly, very quiet, large water collecting canister, easy to remove canister, heavy-duty handle that stays in place and makes carrying easy.
The odd: often when I replace the canister after emptying it, the unit doesn't turn back on automatically when set in continuous run mode. I have to turn it off and turn it on again.
I can live with that! I'd recommend this unit highly.
