ENERGY STAR Most Efficient Dehumidifier – 80, 120, and 150 Pints

It was a good decision to purchase this model dehumidifier. It was easy to set up, came with a drain hose, is surprisingly quiet, extremely efficient and has been reliable. The only negatives are that per Waykar, there is no USA based customer service. Also, it was made in China.

The good: works like a dream to keep basement humidity steady at about 40%, works quickly, very quiet, large water collecting canister, easy to remove canister, heavy-duty handle that stays in place and makes carrying easy.
The odd: often when I replace the canister after emptying it, the unit doesn't turn back on automatically when set in continuous run mode. I have to turn it off and turn it on again.

I can live with that! I'd recommend this unit highly.

This unit has been great. I wouldn't ordering anything any smaller than this unit. It covers almost all of our 2000sq. ft. house with the assistance of central air conditioning. I keep it around 50% and it cuts off. I just ordered another one for another part of house.

So far so good. We received the unit about three weeks ago. It is very quiet and works flawlessly to reduce the humidity to the desired levels. Controls are simple and straightforward. We are very pleased thus far.

This is especially important given their continuous operation in a large space. Both units have been reliable, with easy access to filters. They have an auto-shutoff feature which is a plus, and the units are built to withstand ongoing use in a humid environment.
