Second replacement and costly! Have not replaced any parts on other dehumidifier that I operate. Will consider other options when I replace dehumidifier.
I had 2 prior classic Santa Fe Dehumidifiers. Both broke down after a few years. I have one that still has a warranty - for parts only. Labor would have been $1000.00 to fix. I decided to try the try Waykar. This machine is quieter and does a better job than the Santa Fe, especially in terms of getting rid of that musty basement smell. The Santa Fe is a little over $3000. This was not even $600. My basement feels dryer than with the Santa Fe. The Santa fe warranty is 5 years but the labor cost is what negate the value of the warranty. To me it's not even close, I would never buy the Santa Fe again. This unit is worth every penny and so much better than the Santa Fe. The only down side of this unit is that it pumps out more warm air than the Santa Fe, but otherwise it's just a great machine. I would highly recommend this unit.
Hello. Customer service was very responsive and helpful. I was very happy that when I ordered the part, I was also sent a video on how to disassemble and install the new sensor.
It was even easier than expected and works great.
The unit is doing a good job but surprised by how much heat it gives off.
