The unit arrived leaking a copious amount of oil. I left it sit for 24 hours and then plugged it in. It didn’t generate any water. I emailed customer service and received no response. I called and a rep asked me to turn it to highest setting and run for another 12 hours. I also submitted photos. The promised return call never happened.
So far so good! Really pulling water out of the air here in the SC Midlands!
We've had our 4 Pints Super Quiet Dehumidifier for 14 days now. It is set up to drain via the included hose directly into our shower. The product is easy to use and low maintenance. The only surprise was the 24-hour "wait period" before plugging it in to use.
I bought this unit, super quiet! It runs continuously in my basement. I had questions about how it worked. The customer service for Waykar is excellent! They responded in a very timely manner and were extremely helpful. It is evident that they really care about their customers.
I’m using mine in a shop that I built (20x20). I have some electronics I keep there when I’m not using them, and I need to keep the humidity down to protect my equipment. The dehumidifier has been working great.
