It took over 3 weeks to get the sensor, when I was told it would be shipped overnight.
The manual says an "E1" fault code is a defective Temperature Sensor. I replaced the sensor faulty sensor with the one you sent and it did not solve the problem. I still have an E1 fault code and my dehumidifier does not work.
I contacted customer service and was told it "could be" the mother board, and do I want Waykar to ship one.
THE ANSWER IS NO. THIS IS AN APPROXIMATELY 3 YEAR OLD DEHUMIDIFIER AND I NOW HAVE TO REPLACE THE MOTHER BOARD???
I will replace this humidifier with one from another manufacturer.

Worked great right out of the box. Finally have a dehumidifier quiet enough to talk on the phone while sitting next to it !!
I don't have central A/C, so the house gets pretty humid in summer. I got this unit to serve as a backup for my existing 50-quart unit. It's been a great buy: It keeps two large closets dry, stopping the mildew problem I've had for years. The controls are easy to use, and it has features my other one doesn't, like a timer. It's easy to move to where it's needed with the fold-down handle, and it's Energy Star-rated. It's also very quiet. It does run slightly warm, but not super hot. I don't know if it could really handle 1500 square feet, but it's a good defense against humidity and is making my summer more comfortable.
