I preferred a directional slot on the dehumidifier... so that I could direct it to suck in wetness from various directions, especially down low near the bottom of the basement walls. But the fan is just blowing up in the air, and I don't understand the suction element as I did with my previous dehumidifier. There appears to be suction of wetness... because the drawer contains water. But I preferred a directional opening to suck in water from various directions. Otherwise, I'm not sure if it's doing the job I want. I will have to see. Or let me know how it truly works.
Thank You
The 150 pint dehumidifier lowered humidity within hours and performed well for several months. When an issue occurred, customer service offered a replacement, with a $45 shipping fee or no charge if a 4 or 5 star review was provided. I’ve used several dehumidifier brands in the past, most of which developed problems after a couple years. I chose this model primarily for its warranty and customer service, which have met expectations so far, though I had hoped to avoid issues so soon.
Totally happy with the product. Received the humidifier quickly and in perfect shape
This dehum has my humidity level down from 83% to 50%. The only negative thing I have to say is the dump tank top is about to come off. I have this product for maybe 3-4 weeks.
