Good product

Works great haven't had any issues pulls alot of water out of the air. Needs emptied about every 4 to 6 hours depending on humidity level. If you can hook up the constant drain would be best.

Great customer service!

I purchased the dehumidifier about 9 months ago so it was still under warranty. It was working perfectly until an error message recently appeared on the device so I called Waykar customer service for a resolution. They promptly answered the telephone and walked me through a possible solution. I submitted the paperwork they requested and, unfortunately, it was determined that the dehumidifier likely has an internal systems issue. They offered me a full unit replacement and they are assisting me through the replacement process. I highly recommend purchasing their products! Their customer service and prompt response is a welcomed relief. I highly recommend this company!

Dries a large basement well

This product brought my basement under control! The musty smell was gone and was replaced by crisp, low humidity air. I have run into a service issue recently, and the company has stood behind its product and taken care of me.

Quiet unit and wonderful CS team!

Waykar CTH150PA dehumidifier is a superior product

The Waykar 150 pint dehumidifier (CTH150PA) performs extremely well in my 1600 square foot basement. I've had 2 other cheaper dehumidifiers which did not perform near as well as the Waykar. Three sides of my basement are underground and even with a French drain, waterproofing outside, and Damtite inside there was always a musty smell, until I purchased the Waykar 6 months ago. I highly recommend this product if you want to get your musty air cleared up. I ran the hose from the unit vertically 9 feet high, in order to drain the water outside. The pump works great. And in addition to the performance of the Waykar, customer service is very good. I had a technical question, and I was able to reach a person immediately (no press 1 for this or 2 for that, etc.). My question was forwarded to the technical folks, and within a matter of just a few hours, I had my answer. I'm not used to this kind of response.

Good dehumidifier for basement

I purchased this unit for my basement which is about 1000 sq ft. It does an excellent job of keeping the humidity around 47-50 and I do not run it everyday. I have only had the unit for about a month. The true test will be in the summer but I do like some of the safety features of the system which includes a delay power off to prevent coils from freezing. This is an issue I have had with two previous dehumidifiers from another brand. This also comes with a two year warranty as well once you register online.

Sites for improvement

The customer service site should be more efficient and reliable. Several calls were met with unavailability and/or lack of response. Eventually a representative was able to provide some direction. The manual with the product is good but could stand some more definitive info.

A very good product

I’ve been using this WAYKER 6000 Sq.Ft dehumidifier in my basement for about 6 months, and it works very well. It’s a powerful dehumidifier! It quickly brings down humidity even in a large room and runs pretty quiet for its size. The efficiency of dehumidification is very high. I can feel the air become drier and much fresher. I noticed a difference in air quality and moisture levels within a day of working. The display is clear and the controls are simple to use. The auto mode works great, I love it. Once you set your desired humidity level, it automatically detects and stops running when it reaches that point, so there's no need to worry about it overworking. The drain hose is super convenient, makes it truly set it and forget it. It also has wheels to easily move it around.
Unfortunately I had a technical issue. The warranty offered by the manufacturer is for 12 months with an extended option for the second year. I contacted the customer service team which is incredible. They respond quickly with options on how to resolve my problem. I had a very professional and effective communication with them which ended with a positive solution and my great impression about them.
Overall, I’m very satisfied with my purchase and would definitely recommend this dehumidifier to anyone dealing with moist or musty air in the basement.
