The unit kept my basement dryer than any other dehumidifier I have owned. It started not working after about 4 months. I contacted the seller and they will be sending a free replacement. They were very patient with me in trying to diagnose the issue. I really like the way the unit performed, and looking forward to getting the replacement. My basement smelled better when it was in use and the automatic pump worked perfectly.

This model replaced a Frigidaire dehumdifier, and it removes humidity much faster.The Frigidaire dehumidifier would keep you up at night with all the plastic parts buzzing and vibrating,where the Waykar unit is quiet enough to run in your bedroom.
The other feature I like is the drain pump which totally eliminates the hassle of continually having to empty the water reservoir,especially if you live in a high humidity area like I do.
Overall,the Waykar YDZ-150PM is a well built unit that performs well.

Great unit, works well. Had this on the third floor of a 150 year old house, and it maintained good humidity as described for the past year. Drain system works properly, and nice quiet operation. The built in handle makes this much easier to move than some other units I've had.

The distinguishing feature of this dehumidifier is the pump, which we found hard to come by. Having a pump makes this a perfect fit for a basement - we don't have to constantly trek downstairs just to empty the tank (although it has a large tank as well). Instead, you can simply set it and forget it - running the tube to a nearby drain and letting it take care of itself. We had a condensate pump already set up by our furnace, so we simply placed the dehumidifier near our utility room, cut a small hole in the drywall, and run the tubing there. No regular effort required.

The dehumidifier is straightforward to set-up, and we have a separate sensor so can confirm its humidity readings are accurate. While I wouldn't say it's super quiet, it's not crazy loud either and again we keep it in our basement so no problems there.

Lastly Waykar's support staff are extremely responsive which is appreciated.

I ��ve been using the Waykar 150 Dehumidifier for over a year now, and I��m honestly impressed. It really pulls the moisture out of the air and keeps my basement (and really the whole house) nice and dry. For me the best part is the built-in pump �� I can set it to drain automatically and never have to worry about emptying the bucket. It��s quiet, easy to use, and just makes things so much easier. The humidity read out is convenient as well. Definitely glad I bought it!
