I purchased the Waykar 80 pints dehumidifier in June of 2024. I was also granted an additional 1 year warranty because I registered it on line after I received the unit. Now it is September of 2025 and I had a problem with the unit icing up. The people at Waykar were very prompt in answering my emails and resolved the issue to my satisfaction. I will recommend this brand to anyone interested in purchasing a dehumidifier in the future.

Original water tank for Waykar Dehumidifier. Excellent
We live on the gulf, so humidity is always a problem. I ran the unit without the drain pump and it took 12 hours or less to fill the tank. Since I switched to the pump option the unit runs and can maintain in the 40-50% humidity range. The larger unit should really be considered when you live in humid climate. Would definitely recommend the unit (drain pump is a must have). Also the delivery of the unit once ordered was quick and the unit arrived in perfect condition.
This unit is so small compared to my old 50 pint. I attached a drain hose, plugged it in and found the controls easy understand. The basement had been without a dehimidifier for some time and was at 74% humidity. I left the dehumidifier on low fan speed set at 50%. I basically "set it and forget it" so it ran a good while before reaching 50%. Now the dehumidifier is normally cycling. I don't even hear it when it's running if I'm in the next room. This is quite heavy for the size and fells solidly built. I like that this is backed by a 2 year warranty too. Definitely a true value
