Upgraded 34 Pints Dehumidifier for Bathroom & Basement, ENERGY STAR Most Efficient 2025, Quiet 33dB [PD160B-PRO]

I received the unit within 2 days of ordering. It brings the humidity down very quickly and is very quiet.

This is a nice quiet, compact dehumidifier that is easy to use. It also has a handle on top to move it.

I have a couple of the Waykar PD160B units and they have worked very well / done the job nicely in the house and on a boat to keep things nice and dry. Just purchased the new 2024 energy star PD160B-PRO, which is a significant update to the older PD160B units. It still does the same great job and is a workhorse, but the new unit has a few very nice features. These features include:
1) It is Energy Star compliant so in the long run I will be saving $
2) It is much quieter, particularly on the low fan setting
3) It is considerably smaller than the older PD160B (see pictures)
4) They have changed the discharge method C instead of using a plug to direct the water flow from the internal tank to a hose discharge (meaning you had to use their special hose), now they have a fitting there so you can just unscrew it and either use their hose, or create your own screw in fitting with a custom hose (I prefer smooth plastic tubing since it does not seem to get as moldy). The discharge hose provided is also considerably larger in diameter which may help reduce mold.
5) Even though it is smaller, it seems to do the same job as its older model.

Overall it is a much better unit.

I recently got an upgraded unit from the 2024 model to the 2025 through a replacement/issue unit, and I couldnt be more pleased with its performance. This new model is more compact and noticeably less noisy. The adjustable humidity range (30%-80%) is a fantastic feature, allowing me to customize the indoor air quality to my preference.

Another standout feature is the whisper-quiet operation, which is noticeably better than the 2024 model. Its much quieter than my previous unit, making it ideal for use without distracting hum. The adjustable fan speeds also enable me to fine-tune the airflow based on the humidity levels in my room.

The child lock feature is a thoughtful addition, especially since I have kids and pets.

Overall, the 2025 Waykar is a fantastic upgrade. I also want to highlight the outstanding post-purchase customer service; they are very client satisfaction-oriented and helped me troubleshoot my old unit before the replacement. Shout out to them! It's a great brand with a great product and excellent service.

This is an amazing dehumidifier for our 1000 square-foot apartment in East Texas! I love the efficient design and function of it! It is quiet and totally makes living more comfortable. It is a smaller compact size, its easy to move as it moves on rollers. I also love the handle, which can be raised up to move the unit or push down flat. I also like the water spill lid for the collection bucket assembly great price for a great machine!
