The container of condensation could be designed better having a lid at top.
When the container gets filled up with water it is difficult to remove it without splashing water on floor. Perhaps, the alarm could be set up differently for lessser than 34 Pints. Second, thought will this model last for 2 years ?
This is my second WayKar dehumidifier. My first model PD260B sn: 080300682 purchased from Amazon in November 2020. Unfortunately this unit stopped collecting water in November 2025. My new unit is model CTH80B sn: 2508/000042 purchased from WayKar on 12-3-2025. I loved the first unit for about five years. The new unit is even better. I do very much appreciate the changes you have made.
Very quiet and works as it should!
Bought this as overkill for a 2200 sf house to manage humidity for fine musical instruments. Works great to manage humidity during rainy days. You’d be surprised how much water it pulls out the air. The large reservoir is very adequate to make it through an entire day and keep that section of my home in the 43-48% range desired. The current humidity reading lets you know impact of weather, showers in nearby bathrooms, etc. on humidity in your home. The set to humidity function is also a nice feature. Although I bought the model with the pump, I have yet to test out that feature. Next year during our hot Deep South summer I’m sure I will appreciate it though. Worth splurging for, and quality is great. The only neg note, make sure the drain cap is screwed on correctly before you drench your carpet, like I did mine.
The unit seems to cycle as expected.
